Pepper harvest season has ended in May/2009. According to reports of Agricultual and Rural Development Departments, the output of the six leading provinces is estimated about 92.780 MT ( Gia Lai 16.778 MT, Dak Lak 12,198 MT, Dak Nong 12.196 MT, Binh Phuoc 29.317 MT, Dong Nai 10.064 MT, Ba Ria – Vung Tau 11.697 MT). The output of other provinces is around 7.000 MT. So that the national total output will be 95.000 MT, 10.000 MT higher than forecasted. Increase in both productivity and area is main factor to this growth.
