The 36th Session & Meeting of IPC was held in Rex Hotel, Hochiminh City, Vietnam from 24 – 27th Nov. 2008 by the ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development of Vietnam - MARD, Vietnam Pepper Association – VPA, and International Pepper Community - IPC.
The market for black and white pepper was very quiet during the week under review, due to Christmas holiday. Prices at most origins were relatively unchanged, with the exception of India. In India, prices were reported up marginally compared to last week with limited activity.
According to the Decision No.2492/QD-BCT dated 28th December 2007 of the Minister of Industry and Commerce approved the 2008 National Promotion Trade Program “ Surveying and doing business in Brazil and the United States markets”presided over by Vietnam Pepper Association.
